Located in the West Village is an updated and revived legendary speakeasy with upscale American cuisine ranging from fried chicken to steak tartare and comfy leather banquettes. This hideaway bar is super classy and has a 1920’s feel to it with a cocktail menu that mainly focuses on the brown (aka whiskey).

Red light special, anyone? This Mexican-themed cocktail bar is a perfect getaway with its chill vibe and red lit decor for the St. Patty’s Day weekend. This gin-based cocktail bar is perfect for a quirky yet chill night out, plus who doesn’t want their tequila served in a ceramic donkey? We do!

If you’re into tiki drinks, electric lanterns and sailor pin-up art then this Hudson shore Saloon is totally for you. The camp and nautically-infused decor pairs perfectly with its Hudson River waterfront view, which makes it ideal for day-drinking. So head over to the Meatpacking District for some shipwrecked karaoke every Tuesday at 9 Pm and two for one Busch Pints and well cocktails all night!

With two locations in Brooklyn and TriBeCa, Weather Up bar screams cozy with its mood lighting and booth-sitting area, not to mention the Rueben Sliders! P.S. food is only served at the TriBeCa location only so if you’re looking for a cocktail only night-out, Brooklyn is your go-to for avoiding the St. Patty’s craziness and also has an outdoor terrace lattice with greenery.

Recently opened in January, this tropical, high-ceiling bar with a Miami feel due to its palm tree decor is truly an NYC oasis that also includes a large backyard space that’s open late! So if you’re into grilled veggies and seafood-thick, this backyard-vibe bar is great and has a variety of drinks.

Located in the heart of Harlem, this supper club in the basement of Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster, not only serves soul food & craft cocktails but has live entertainment. What better way to chill than having someone serenade you while you drink?

For the art-conscious and fashion-forward, this bar has a secret art gallery entrance and is Sia chandelier-approved. With its cool crowd, and candle-lit atmosphere, the one and only Fig. 19 on the LES, is certified “good vibes only”. Need we say more?

Beerfest officially came to NYC thanks to this Danish wood-clad bar in Brooklyn. Featuring 21 draft lines from around the world from light to dark, is perfect for a laid-back weekend outing. Plus, they have an all-day/ all-night happy hour with $5 cans. Cheers to that!
