Starbucks has officially rung out the next batch of festive seasonal drinks (Peppermint Mocha with extra whip, please), which means it’s now socially acceptable to start playing your Nat King Cole Christmas music and flirt with the idea of throwing an epic holiday rager decked out with mistletoe, velvet, and champagne. But if you’re anything like us, which is terribly last minute, then you know the anxiety that ensues when it’s just days before your scheduled celebratory gift giving holiday and you’ve forgotten to get your favorite Auntie Carmen a gift and oh, shit what about your cousin Paul?
It’s a common plague that we all suffer from this time of year, the rush and bustle of holiday shopping. You’ve checked out every mass retailer just to be disappointed by the generics and leftovers of the unwanted items sprawled about in heaps. You long to land your sights on something unique and special, curated and personal. We’re here to tell you, you won’t need a Christmas Miracle for that because we’ve compiled a list of holiday pop-ups that’ll offer you an abundance of options to get just the right gift for your BFF and loved ones, too.
We love a reason to go to the Ace, especially when it involves liquor infused shopping trips. That’s why we’re leaping for joy with this Artist & Fleas Holiday Pop Up happening at Liberty Hall in the Breslin. This one day holiday shopping event will feature 26 of the best artists, designers, and vintage collectors from Artists & Fleas Brooklyn, Chelsea, and LA markets. What’s better is the first 100 guests will not only receive The Breslin’s “Sweater Weather” cocktail made of bourbon, Fig, Ramazotti Amaro, Port and Fresh Lemon to sip while they shop, but a complimentary Artists & Fleas tote bag, some of which will contain golden tickets of up to $150 in shopping cred. So sip, shop, and boogy down to tunes played by DJ Turmix, DJ Brother Daniel, DJ Alf Alpha and DJ Kevin Anthony.
