Outfit Ideas For The Summer Days Ahead

With fashion trends forever changing, it’s tough to keep up sometimes. I think we can all agree on that. And while it’s always important to find your own sense of style, especially one that is representative of who you are, it’s definitely fun to give in to the current fashion trends and make it your own. There’s nothing wrong with wearing similar outfits as other people. In fact, it actually shows you have something in common with a complete stranger and we think that’s pretty cool.

Therefore we’ve put together a few on-trend outfits for this summer season that we think everyone should wear. Or at least, recreate your own version of the style, because they’re pretty awesome. BRB, we’re going to do some online purchasing now.

The Overall Overhaul

Overalls have officially made a comeback people and we’re loving it. These babies are back and ready for action…and better then ever. This season’s overall trend is one for the books, thats for sure. We’ve paired a black pair of overalls with some flatforms, a statement pineapple bag, a white crop to keep it simple and some fun gold jewelry. This is an every day outfit we’re crazy about.

Sometimes, toning down the outfit and rocking cooler colors is, well, cool. So we’ve paired a grey scale outfit together and made it super comfy specifically for the Sporty Spices of the world. Granted, you’ve still got those statement pieces with some throwback sneaks and even that metallic bag, everyone will know you’re keeping it casual, comfy and cool as a cucumber that day.

The Baggier The Better

For those cooler days this summer when jeans are acceptable to wear, we would suggest a pair of baggy boyfriend jeans… because, duh. (Altough can we stop calling them boyfriend jeans, already? They’re just oversized jeans- no need to bring “boyfriends” into it!) Keeping the clothing loose will be your best bet to staying comfortable. Plus, baggy clothing are in these days, so you’ll be right on trend. We paired outfit with a oversized bag to go along with the rest of the outfit and a pair of pink flats just to give it a hint of a femme vibe.

Call us basic, but we’re suckers for prints that are a blatant nod to the season and this summer, it’s all about the palm print. Pair that with some other 2015 hits like the culotte and metallic flatforms, and you’ll look like you’re straight out of a Style.com street style snap.
