With the summer season coming to a close, it’s pretty much mandatory to enjoy a refreshing beverage. Whether you’re drinking a tasty cocktail with friends or enjoying a midday spritz, we have the perfect recipes for you to recreate for all occasions — and the common thread? Aperol, duh. Light and refreshing with just enough of a kick, Aperol is the key ingredient for all your summer beverages. With its eye-catching color and light aroma, Aperol looks just as good as it tastes.

In a picture perfect world, we’d be sipping on a cocktail on the coasts of Italy or at a beach party in the Hamptons. However, sipping on an Aperol Spritz will make you feel like you’re on vacay no matter what the coordinates are. This buzzed-about drink has quickly become this summer’s #1 cocktail. So mix 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 splash of soda water, and enjoy!

We love our Aperol Spritz, so we decided to experiment with some other sinful combinations using the classic 3-2-1 Aperol process to make another delicious drink to quench our thirst. We give you, “The Smokey Sunset”, — 3 parts Aperol, 2 parts Mezcal, 1 part Fresh Lime Juice. Mix it together, pour in a glass, and sip on the sister cocktail of the classic Aperol Spritz.
