My darling friend owns an online accessories shop called Required Flare which sells affordable bauble that girls just eat up (this girl included.) So this week, we decided to brave the cold and hit the streets for some winter inspired flare paired with warm layers. Keep in mind, NYC was around 8-20 degrees this past weekend; layering was a must and shooting efficiently and quickly was in order therefore our creativity for this shoot wasn’t at an all time high. For all of you fashion bloggers living in NYC (or any cold city at the moment for that matter,) I salute you for keeping up with the style posts. It is NOT easy to maintain a straight “model” face when all you really want to do is run back inside and bury your body under your bedcovers.
Check out the gallery from our Brooklyn shoot below and shop the looks in the links if you like what you see!
Hat: Oversized knit beanie I purchased at Atrium NYC a couple of years ago. Here’s an adorable alternative I found on Etsy.
Shirt: Silk plaid top by Topshop (located in Soho store.)
Mink Coat: Borrowed from my Momma.
Necklaces: Clearly Charming Necklace (bottom) here
Rings: Fairytale Chain Ring (one of my favorites) found here.
Straight Shooter Ring, Cashmere cardigan from Topshop (on sale, y’all!)
For the colorful, this necklace is flamboyantly fun.
